The Heartland Men’s Chorus brings its first ever Christmas pageant to the stage this weekend. The HMC is not new to Christmas shows, but A Very Merry Christmas Pageant is like no other.

The 140 member chorus will compete against each other in solo and group ensembles—encompassing modern holiday songs to our favorite Christmas classics—for the coveted Christmas Crown. Watch performers from all over the Kansas City area represent their neighborhoods with dance numbers, drag queens, and ugly Christmas Sweaters.

The Heartland’s Mens Chorus has been performing in Kansas City since its formation 1986. The chorus gave a safe harbor for a community seeking solace and relief from prejudice and the devastating AIDS crisis. Yearly they perform a spring, summer, and winter concert, uniting the public and sharing their art.

Support the Heartland Men’s Chorus and buy tickets for the Sunday, December 10th performance of A Very Merry Christmas Pageant at Yardley Hall at Johnson County Community College online, prices starting at $27.
